Etude House Beauty Workshop

Hello :)
Today I want to share my experience when I attend a beauty workshop by Etude House at Taman Anggrek Mall last Saturday.

At first, I didn't want to attend the workshop, because what I could learn are only Natural & Dolly look. I already know the steps, tips, & etc.. Moreover, I can watch some youtube videos from Bubzbeauty or other makeup gurus. LOL XD
However, my friend said to me that she want to go to the workshop.

At last, I decided to accompany her and went to the beauty class~

They were staring at me when I took the photos. However, I don't care it and I continue to take another pictures :P LOL.

 The goodie bags. After the workshop, they give it to the ladies.

I was rather shocked with the lighting they provided. 

I rarely saw something like this, so pardon my old-fashioned side *slapped*

Basically, it is divided into 3 parts:
1. skincare step
2. Daily/Natural Makeup
3. Dolly Makeup

I. Skincare step
It's the most important things to do everyday. The basic need to achieve a flawless face is to do skincare routine correctly.

• Etude House lip&eye makeup remover
For those who wear makeup, we need to clean our face to start the steps.
• Skin Mal;gem toner
I love the smell of this toner, it feels sweet and refreshing. 
• Skin Mal;gem lotion
The purpose is to moisturize the skin.

Ci Sherly, as the makeup artist representative from Etude House, explaining the methods and some beauty tips.

All participant got different products, because it's tester :X

II. The Makeup

• BB Cream Bright Fit
Their best seller product. We can get a flawless face when using this item and it's safe to wear it on daily activities, because the formula is light and contain skin care.
• Powder
Just tap a little for daily makeup, in order to achieve a natural look.
• Eyebrow kit
For korean looks, it's one of the key point :3
• Eye primer
To make the eyeshadow and eyeliner last longer. It also helps to show the color of the eyeshadow.
• Eyeshadow
Just use 2 types of eyeshadow (light&darker tones) to create a simple look. However, we need to use 1 tone of eyeshadow (dark tones only, like brown/grayish black) to achieve dolly looks.
• Eyeliner
Applied on the upper part and lower part (draw half way only) of eyes.
• Mascara
One of the most important part of eye look~
• Blusher
Apply on the apple of our cheeks <3
• Lipstick
We need to use this, so we can look fresh.
• Lip Gloss
 Just apply it on the center of lip.


 So, last session is camwhoring! Hahahaha XD
However, this time I didn't want to take much photos :P There are many people at that time, so it's not really convenient.

[Etude House] Color me Nude Lip Concealer

Hello ladies <3

Nude lips were really important for some makeup style, which I think gyaru needs that.

Sometimes it's rather hard to achieve the perfect nude lips, because not all women has pale lips.

I'm one of those women who has pink lips, so it's hard for me to achieve nude lips which suitable with my gyaru makeup.

After doing some research, I found a SUPER useful product which is LIP CONCEALER.

Because Etude House's lip concealer is affordable, so I decided to buy it :)

> Packaging
It's simple and easy to use. However, I don't think that this item is cute enough for my standards :3
To apply, simply rotate the bottom part and the concealer will comes out :)

> Effect
Perfect! It comes out as great as I expected *yeayyy* xD It helps a lot to conceal my pink lips and turns it to beige color which is suitable with my skin tone. After apply this item, I only need to use a nude lip stick to complete the looks.

> Moisturizing
this product will make my lips feel dry, so the best solution for this problem is applying lip balm before using the lip concealer.


> Scents
This product has no scent at all. Eventhough it's not a good thing, but that's not bad too. Why? Because there aren't any weird cosmetic scents which I really don't like.

PROS

-) Affordable

-) Travel friendly

-) Good coverage

-) Easy to use

-) Last around 5 hours

-) Gives a perfect nude lips

CONS

-) Dry my lips

-) No scents

-) Not really cute, unlike other Etude House's products

[Etude House] Chocolate Smudge Liner

Do you know that Etude House had released their Sweet Recipe collection on February?

Yes, this item is one of the products that they released.

I really love to see all the products because it's really cute and really attracting. I'm rarely see makeup having a food shape, so it's kinda special to me.

But, due to limited budget and I have quite much make up collection, so I need to calm and not buying too much things :P lol.

I ended up bought an eyeliner which called: Chocolate Smudge Eyeliner in #1 (Dark Chocolate).

Actually, they have another color, but I prefer using a dark color. That's why finally I chose it :D

Let's take a look on the packaging~

So, I'll just straightly say about the PROS and CONS.

++ PROS

I can't resist to say that this eyeliner is SUPEEERRRR CUTE! The packaging also doesn't make it harder to use. So, 2 thumbs up for the design and packaging :D :D

The texture is creamy and it's easy to apply on my eyelids. Other than that, this product is really CHEAP (only around $7). To be honest, I never found an eyeliner which has the same price as this product with a good quality.

- - CONS

Too bad, this liner is not water resistant and it's so easy to fade.

I ever once wear this liner, but at that time the weather is not friendly so at last I'm sweating T^T

The result is, my liner started to fade and I need to reapply the liner.

Now, I'm going to use the liner and clean it by using my etude house remover.

Also, I will show you when I wore this item.

This time, I only apply a very thin line on my eyes. Can you notice it?

Finally, I should say that actually I recommend this smudge liner. To get the best result, use a waterproof eyeliner after applying the smudge liner.

[Etude House] Bling Bling Eye stick #3

I got this item as a Christmas gift (on 2011) from my cousin <3 Actually, I didn’t knew why my cousin chose this for me, because at that time I was rarely use make up. I only use it when I’m cosplaying xP (I’m too lazy *slapped*). But, at last I decided for trying this eye stick since it's a waste if I didn't use it at all.

Also, after doing some research finally I found all swatches for this product.

When etude house released this product, there're only 6 color (as shown on the picture above). But now they've released another color and here's the advertisement :)

Finally, here's my thought about this item:

> Packaging : quite good and easy to bring. The size is rather small, but it’s easy to handle. But, for this item I can’t find the cute side, unlike the other items released from etude house.

> Pigmentation : good :D after apply it on my eyelid, the color shows nicely and it gives a shimmery effect. But, I need to put at least 2 times to make the color appear.

(in this picture, I apply 3 times)

> Application: Easy to use (only need to twist the bottom part, then use it). It means no brush needed for using this kind of eyeshadow.

> Texture: The texture is creamy, but not sticky.

So, as a conclusion for this product..

PROS:

-) Perfect size to put into my travel makeup bag

-) Easy to use

-) Nice color

-) Friendly price

CONS:

-) need to swap (at least 2 times) to show the color nicely

-) Not really cute, unlike other products from etude house

Rating: 9/10

I would recommend this product to you if you often in rush to do makeup or you need to bring an eyeshadow everywhere.

[Etude House] juicy cocktail nail gradation

I've bought 2 sets of juicy cocktail nail gradation some months ago. After use it for several times, now I'm ready to make a review about it! :D
Fyi, the pictures below were only in number #4 color. For the pictures of color #6, I'll edit this post later when I have spare time.

Here's the pictures..

(My nails were always short, because I can't play piano well if it's long. So please bear it x3 )

PROS:
-) I love the packaging, it has a cube size so it won't take many space in my nail polish box.
-) Looks cute and rather expensive, but actually it's super affordable
-) the texture is rather watery and it makes easy to apply
-) Pretty colors
-) Long lasting, without using top coat, it will stay for 3-5 days.
-) easy to dry

CONS:
-) hard to remove .___. I need to use 4 cotton+nail remover when using this nail polish, while I only use 1 cotton+nail remover to remove glossy/matte nail polish
-) need extra careful after apply the nail polish for some time, if not you'll see a crack in the top part of your nail.

Rating: 8.5/10

Overall, I love this product <3 Maybe if there's any new and pretty colors I'll buy again~

[Etude House] proof 10 eye primer

These days, I oftenly confuse what to post on my blog. Whether it is about makeup or wig review :S Maybe next time I will make a polling to see your opinion :D

Back to the title's topic...

Here's the picture of proof 10 eye primer

What is eye primer? Basically, it is use before applying eyeshadow. By putting a little amount of eye primer around the eyes, after you put eyeshadow in that area it will make the colors of your eyeshadow more appear and last longer.

 Here are the picture's comparison of using eye primer and without using eye primer.

(top- without using eyeprimer)

Likes:

-) affordable (usually online shop sells it around 70.000 IDR)

-) easy to blend

-) the texture is soft 

-) helps to make my eyeshadow last longer

Dislike:

-) Hard to get (since it's one of etude house's bestseller, the products oftenly sold out)

*Notes:
If you compared this eye primer with other branded eye primer (example= bobbi brown, Nars, etc), of course the branded one will be more good and shows many differences.

But if you considered the price, this product is SUPER great! It's very suitable for people who likes cheap makeup with good quality and also a beginner.
